We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Marlborough St Mary’s has been recognised nationally in the 2025/2026 Pearson National Teaching Awards, with multiple winners across a range of prestigious categories. This is an incredible achievement for our school and a powerful testament to the dedication, talent, and heart of our whole community.

🏆 Silver Award Winner – Headteacher of the Year

Our very own Mr Dan Crossman has been named a Silver Winner for Headteacher of the Year in a Primary School! This honour places Mr Crossman among the very best leaders in the country. Dan, along with a small back-up team attended the award ceremony in London, hosted by Gaby Roslin, and had a brilliant time celebrating our school!

🥳 Staff Achievements – A Celebration of Excellence

We were equally delighted to celebrate the success of several other incredible members of our team, who received special honours at a joyful celebration BBQ at school, hosted with two of the award sponsors:

• Laura Stewart – recognised for outstanding work in SEND and Inclusive Practice

• Georgia Derbyshire – awarded for excellence in Teaching in a Primary School

• Hannah Panter – honoured as an Unsung Hero for her invaluable contributions

• Victoria (Tori) Lawton – also celebrated as an Unsung Hero

🏫 School-Wide Recognition – Making a Difference

To top it all off, Marlborough St Mary’s as a whole received a Certificate of Excellence in The Award for Making a Difference – Primary School of the Year.
