Led by qualified teachers from our nationally recognized school, our nursery blends outdoor learning with a warm, Hygge-inspired environment. We offer a seamless transition into main school life, ensuring your child receives direct expertise in early communication and phonics.

Morning Session: 08:50 – 11:50 (3 hours)

Afternoon Session: 11:50 – 14:50 (3 hours)
Coming Soon – Full Wraparound Care: From January, we aim to extend our opening hours to offer full wraparound care (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM) for 51 weeks of the year. Detailed information will be shared in September/October.

Fees & Funded Hours

Session blocks can be altered in Terms 1, 3 and 5 (if available).
Government Funding
We accept government-funded hours (15 or 30 hours per week depending on eligibility and age), which can be redeemed in 3-hour session blocks.

15 Hours Universal: Available for all 3 and 4-year-olds.

15 Hours Early Learning Funding: Available for eligible 2-year-olds.

15 or 30 Hours Expanded Support: Available for eligible working parents of 2-year-olds and 3–4-year-olds.

Snacks & Lunch

Milk: Provided free of charge every day.

Healthy Snacks (50p per session): Served between 9:45 AM and 10:30 AM. Children actively help prepare snacks on a 4-week rolling menu, building independence and motor skills.

Hot Lunches (£2.00 per day): Prepared on-site in our own school kitchen using locally sourced meat and vegetables. Served from 12:00 PM.

Payments: All snacks and lunches (for both funded and privately paid places) are ordered and paid for conveniently via the Arbor app. Children may also bring a packed lunch.
Outdoor Learning & Facilities
Children spend approximately 50% of their time outdoors, making full use of our fantastic on-site Forest School area to build confidence, independence, and physical development.
Staffing & Care Ratios
Our nursery is led by highly experienced EYFS Leads and Level 3 practitioners trained in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding.

2-Year-Old Class: 1:5 ratio (Maximum 10 children)

3–4-Year-Old Class: 1:8 ratio (Maximum 24 children)

Key Worker System: Every child is allocated a dedicated Key Worker to support their learning and wellbeing, alongside regular contact with our class teachers.
Uniform & What to Bring
Nursery pupils wear the same uniform as our Reception (EYFS2) classes:

Black tracksuit bottoms or leggings

White polo or scoop-neck t-shirt

Red school jumper
We are happy to assist families with sourcing uniform items if needed.
Registration & Visits

Visits: You are welcome to visit our nursery at any time—please contact the school office to arrange a tour.

Availability: We currently have spaces available for specific session slots.

Registration Fee: £25 (includes a free Marlborough St Mary’s t-shirt).
