Proposal to Open a School Based Nursery at Marlborough St Mary’s
School-based nurseries play a crucial role in supporting children to get the best start in life. Recently, we have been exploring the possibility of St Mary’s Under Fives joining the school and becoming part of Marlborough St Mary’s Primary School. The provision would offer a high-quality education to children between the ages of 2 and 11 on the existing site, with the nursery day being extended from 08:00 – 18:00.
This is an exciting proposal that we strongly believe will make a positive difference to the lives and opportunities for the children and families in our community.
The following documents (all of which are available as paper copies from the school office) are intended to support the community's understanding of the proposal and to provide accessible opportunities for feedback:
- MSM Consultation Document (see below)

You are invited to share your opinion and to ask any questions that you might have. The consultation period will last until midday on Tuesday 9th December and there will be an informal drop-in session in the school hall at Marlborough St Mary's Primary School, between 2:45 and 4:30pm on 26th November.
