School Council

Welcome to Marlborough St Mary's School Council.

At our school children from each classroom are elected to be part of the school council: from Y1 upwards, as well as representatives from Resource base.

The school council is a special group where children can share ideas and help make the school a better place.
They get to talk about important things that affect everyone in the school.
Before each meeting, council members spend time with their classmates to find out their thoughts and ideas and what will be discussed. They then bring these ideas to the meeting so everyone's voice is heard. After the meeting, the decisions can be shared with each class to help make this happen.

Our school council plays a crucial role in fostering pupil's leadership and making positive changes within school and community. The elected members wear School Council badges with pride to demonstrate one of our school driver: PRIDE.
